Taelor is an Arizona State University graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Family and Human Development and a Masters Degree in Counseling. She has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families with a variety of struggles including family disruption, trauma, anxiety, behavioral problems, grief and depression. Taelor approaches the therapeutic process by incorporating many modalities into therapy that fit the needs of each client.
Taelor has witnessed the healing power of the creative mind for children, teens and families and believes in it to facilitate healing and growth through art and play therapy. Taelor also strives to understand the unique set of challenges adolescents and young adults face today and works to empower them through learning about healthy relationships, emotion regulation, mindfulness and problem solving with the help of DBT skills. Taelor is also trained in EMDR, a therapeutic modality that works to diminish negative feelings and experiences and create adaptive thought processes. Taelor understands that therapy can be an overwhelming process and believes in the importance of creating a safe and warm healing environment.
