Nicoleta is passionate about the therapy process and believes that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is essential to that process. She brings empathy and compassion to all her clients and strongly believes that everyone is capable of positive change. She understands that often times in order for that to happen, deep healing must occur. With the help of evidence-based treatment techniques, Nicoleta’s focus is to sit alongside her clients as they journey through the healing and self-discovery process.
Nicoleta has clinical experience working with adults, adolescents (ages 10-17), families, and is trained in the Love and Logic method for parenting. She has experience working with substance abuse, grief, life transitions, adult survivors of trauma, couples/relationship issues, neurodivergence (including ADHD), mental health issues related to high academic achievement, and also has a background in secondary education.
Nicoleta embraces a strength-based philosophy that is client-led and utilizes an array of theoretical approaches and modalities including, but not limited to, CBT, IFS, and DBT, as well as Motivational Interviewing.
