Christy is currently working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Studies.
Christy believes that every individual is unique and uses an eclectic approach when working with clients to reflect that ideology. Her treatment methodology comes from a place of empathy and unconditional positive regard, which is founded upon her own personal experience as a recipient of counseling and finding her own hope and healing along the way.
Christy enjoys working with all ages and believes in the power that comes from connection and personal advocacy. She strives to create a trusting environment where clients feel safe sharing the most vulnerable parts of themselves and recognizes the courage it takes to receive counseling services.
In her spare time, Christy enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking long walks, hanging out with her fur baby, reading good books, and traveling to Texas to visit her grandbaby.
